South Africa international Frans Steyn will be playing his club rugby in Japan next season after agreeing a deal to join the Top League's Toshiba Brave Lupus.

Steyn, who has 53 caps and was part of the 2007 World Cup-winning Springbok team, will fulfill his commitments to Super Rugby outfit the Sharks before moving to Japan. He will be joined at Brave Lupus by former New Zealand Maori captain Tanerau Latimer, who moves from the Chiefs.

Steyn and Latimer are just the latest players to leave Super Rugby for the Brave Lupus. The four-time Top League champions have already attracted Richard Kahui and Cooper Vuna, formerly of the Chiefs and Melbourne Rebels respectively.
