A standout performance by Nic White not only enabled the Brumbies to leave South Africa satisfied and on top of the Australian conference, but also earnt him player of the round status. White's high work rate and vision was a prime factor in the Brumbies win over the Lions, while reminding Australian selectors that he should be high up on the list of candidates for the Test No 9 jersey.

He has moved up to fifth spot, behind Brumbies team-mate David Pocock, who was also among the team's best at Ellis Park.
