The Chiefs have continued their recruitment ahead of the 2016 Super Rugby season with the addition of New Zealand Warriors winger Glen Fisiiahi.

Fisiiahi burst onto the rugby league scene with the Warriors in the NRL's Under-20 competition in 2009 before moving up to first grade in 2011. He has since played 25 games in the top grade but jumped at the chance to switch back to rugby and play alongside his Wesley College First XV team-mate Augustine Pulu at the Chiefs.

"I have really enjoyed the league environment but I have rekindled my interest in rugby and want to try a different environment," Fisiiahi said via a Chiefs media release. "I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my sporting career and a fresh challenge. I have been impressed by what I have seen at the Chiefs and I believe it will be a good fit for me."

The Chiefs made the Super Rugby play-offs this season before bowing out to eventual champions, the Highlanders.
