14 - The Hurricanes won 14 games in the regular season; only the Stormers in 2012 had previously claimed as many victories in the 15-team competition.

66 - The Hurricanes also equalled the Reds (2011), Stormers (2012) and Chiefs (2013) for the joint-most competition points.

175 - Keven Mealamu took his appearance tally in Super Rugby to 175 matches, more than any other player.

17 - TJ Perenara had a direct involvement (score or assist) in 17 tries this season, more than anyone else.

68 - Israel Folau (68) and Damian de Allende (64) beat the most defenders in the regular rounds this year. They were the two highest individual totals recorded since 2006, with Malakai Fekitoa (61; 2014) and Charles Piutau (60; 2013) the only other players to break the 60-mark before finals.

231 - Warren Whiteley made 231 of 238 tackles (97%) in Super Rugby this year, completing 43 more than the next highest hitter. He is only the third player since 2006 to reach 230 tackles in a season, while his seven misses is a joint-low among the seven men to reach 200 or more tackles; Wimpie van der Walt made 209 of 216 tacklesin 2013.

4 - Four of the five Australian teams rank in the bottom six for scrum success this season, with all four recording a success percentage of 86% or lower. The Rebels ranked third overall (92%).

36 - The Brumbies scored a competition-high 36 tries this year after retaining possession through their lineout; the next best figure by any other team this and last season was 22.

14:18 - The Highlanders scored the second-most tries despite averaging only 14 minutes and 18 seconds per game in possession, the second-lowest time on the ball for any team in Super Rugby 2015.

68 - New Zealand sides won 68% of games against teams from outside their conference this season (27/40). South African and Australian teams meanwhile won fewer than half of their games against teams from other conferences in the regular season - claiming 19/40 (48%;) and 14/40 (35%) respectively.
