- Bakkies Botha will play his first Super 14 game of the season against the Sharks in Pretoria on Saturday.
The Bulls lock has been slow to recover from an Achilles injury picked up at the tail-end of 2009, but will rejoin Victor Matfield in the engine room for a vital game. Danie Rossouw moves to the bench for the reigning champions, who are five points clear in the table after a bonus point win over the Lions last weekend.
- ERC has announced two prospective venues for the
European Challenge Cup final. Should Toulon triumph over Connacht in their semi-final on Friday the game will be staged in France for the first time since 2000, at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille on May 23. If the Magners League side see off their Top 14 rivals then the game will be played at Gloucester's Kingsholm ground.

Wellington backs Charlie Ngatai and Julian Savea make the cut, as do Waikato halfback and Chiefs wider training squad member Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Canterbury's Luke Whitelock - younger brother of current Crusaders Adam, Sam and George.
