Injury has forced the Wallabies to make a late change on the bench ahead of tomorrow's historic Bledisloe Cup Test against New Zealand at Hong Kong Stadium.

A nagging calf strain has forced Waratahs hooker Adam Freier to withdraw from the match day squad, with his place being taken by fellow Waratah, Tatafu Polota-Nau. Freier sustained the injury towards the end of yesterday's training and was still being troubled this morning when the decision was made.

The 23-year-old Polota-Nau, who made his Test debut against England at Twickenham on the Wallabies' 2005 Spring Tour, will be featuring in his ninth Test match should he be required to take the field. Five of those caps have been earned this year, including the Tests against New Zealand at Sydney and Auckland where the Sydney-born hooker appeared off the bench.

The Wallabies completed their preparations for their Spring Tour opener with the captain's run this afternoon at Hong Kong Stadium. The historic Test, the first Bledisloe Cup match to be played outside of either Australia or New Zealand, kicks off at 4.30pm locally (7.30pm AEST).
