The Blues travel to face the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday with the aim of forgetting their thrashing at the hands of the Bulls last weekend. The visitors are bolstered by the returning Joe Rokocoko, Taniela Moa and Jerom Kaino, all of whom missed the Bulls match in order to witness the birth of their children.
Rokocoko starts ahead of Rene Ranger, who was banned for a game following a dangerous tackle last time out, while Moa replaces Chris Smylie and Kaino comes in for Chris Lowrey. Lowrey is bracketed alongside Kurtis Haiu at lock after Haiu suffered a head knock against the Bulls.
Tasesa Lavea replaces Jimmy Gopperth at fly-half anf Tony Woodcok returns to the front-row in place of Tevita Mailau in the other changes.
For the Stormers, who beat the Reds in a thriller last weekend, Percy Montgomery comes in at fullback for Conrad Jantjes, slotting in alongside last week's try-scorers Tonderai Chavanga and Sireli Naqelevuki. Ricky Januarie and Peter Grant continue at half-back, with Jean de Villiers leading the side from the centre.
Luke Watson, hugely impressive against the Reds, continues at No.8 with Schalk Burger and Duane Vermuelen completing the back-row.
