The Bulls have received a fitness boost with centre Wynand Olivier passed fit to play ahead of their Super 14 final clash against the Chiefs at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday. Olivier was ruled out of their crucial semi-final victory over the Crusaders on Saturday with a hip injury but has been named in the Bulls midfield as they look to secure their second Super 14 title in three seasons.

Olivier has been named in the No.12 jersey, with Jaco Pretorius in the No.13 spot. Marius Delport drops to the bench after starting in place of Olivier last weekend.

The stars of the semi-final are all present and correct, with try-scorers Pierre Spies, Bryan Habana and Akona Ndungane all starting. Fly-half Morne Steyn, fresh from setting a Super 14 record with his four drop-goals against the Crusaders, will again be pulling the strings and looking to impress Springbok coach Peter de Villiers ahead of the upcoming Lions tour, which also kicks off on Saturday in Rustenberg.

The Super 14 final looks set to whitewash the Lions' debut in terms of local interest, with a sold-out Loftus Versfeld dwarfing the 20,000 expected to turn out to watch the Lions against a Royal XV in Rustenberg.

"The stadium near Rustenburg has a capacity of 42,000 but because of the Super 14 final, we are now hoping for a crowd of around 20,000," an SA Rugby source told The Daily Telegraph. "It could be more but it could be less. The Super 14 final is the only game in town this weekend."

Bulls: Zane Kirchner; Akona Ndungane, Jaco Pretorius, Wynand Olivier, Bryan Habana; Morné Steyn, Fourie du Preez; Pierre Spies, Dewald Potgieter, Deon Stegmann, Victor Matfield (capt), Bakkies Botha, Werner Kruger, Derick Kuün, Gurthrö Steenkamp

Replacments: Chiliboy Ralepelle, Rayno Gerber, Danie Rossouw, Pedrie Wannenburg, Heini Adams, Burton Francis, Marius Delport
