Goerges dumped out in Austria

The defence of Julia Goerges' Nurnberger Gastein crown came to an abrupt end after the German was dumped out at the first-round stage by Laura Pous-Tio.
Goerges, who has climbed up the rankings since her maiden WTA Tour in Bad Gastein 12 months ago, was broken five times in a 6-1 2-6 6-1 defeat
After dropping the opening set, the top seed looked to have recovered when she levelled the scores, but won just seven points on serve as she fell apart in the final set.
Second seed Jarmila Gajdosova also suffered a premature exit after serving 10 double faults in a 6-4 6-2 defeat to Sweden's Johanna Larsson.
With third seed Lucie Hradecka and fourth seed Iveta Benesova falling on Monday, the tournament will be without its top four players in the second round.
