Tsonga too strong for Dolgopolov

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga remains on course to win his first tournament of the season after easing past Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-4 6-4 to reach the final of the Moselle Open.
Tsonga has been a beaten finalist on two occasions this season and will be looking to go one better and boost his hopes of reaching the World Tour Finals.
The Frenchman was strong on serve in the match, hitting six aces, and a break of serve late in the second set proved enough to claim victory.
Ivan Ljubicic stands between Tsonga and victory in Metz after the Croatian won the battle of the big servers, beating Gilles Muller 7-6(3) 7-6(5). Ljubicic fired 26 aces to Muller's 18 in a match that did not see one break of serve.
Juan Ignacio Chela's bid to defend his Bucharest Open title ended at the semi-final stage as he was beaten 6-4 7-5 by Pablo Andujar. The No.1 seed held leads in both sets but failed to convert.
Andujar will face Florian Mayer in the final after the No. 2 seed crushed Filippo Volandri 7-6(3) 6-2.
