Robson powers into second round in Tokyo

British wildcard Laura Robson set up a potential second round clash with former world No. 1 Ana Ivanovic at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo.
The 17-year-old needed just 66 minutes to see off world No. 53 Alexandra Dulgheru 6-2 6-2 in an impressive opening-round performance.
The former Wimbledon junior champion, who has reached a career-high of 146th in the world rankings, awaits the winner of the first round meeting between Ivanovic and Australia's Anastasia Rodionova.
Ivanovic is coached by Nigel Sears, the former head of women's tennis at the Lawn Tennis Association.
Should Robson claim the scalp of Ivanovic in the second round, she could meet US Open champion Sam Stosur in the last 16.
