Murray proves fitness with doubles win in Paris

Andy Murray shrugged off any fitness fears by combining with Ross Hutchins to beat Spaniards Nicolas Almagro and David Marrero in the first round of the doubles at the BNP Paribas Masters.
Murray was forced to withdraw from the Swiss Indoors last week on account of a muscle injury.
The injury was a concern with the ATP World Tour Finals less than a fortnight away, but he turned up in Paris fit and well and was given a stiff examination in the doubles.
He and Hutchins lost the first set but found their form in the second and came through a tiebreak third to progress 4-6 6-3 10-7.
Murray is seeded second in the singles and his status earned him a bye into the second round.
Looking ahead to the singles, Murray said: "The centre court is fantastic, a great centre court and great atmosphere.
"I was looking at the draw and there are very few easy matches. It's a strong tournament, a lot of depth, and with the exception of Rafa [Nadal] everyone is playing."
