Roger Federer has revealed he will take supreme confidence to the ATP World Tour Finals in London, provided he can shake off fatigue in the next six days.

Federer has geared up for the defence of his Tour Finals title in style, backing up a win in the Swiss Indoors with victory at the BNP Paribas Masters.

The Swiss has the chance to end what has been a frustrating season in style and after beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final in Paris, he is on the crest of a wave.

"I could not be more confident," Federer said after his 6-1 7-6(3) victory. "I have had some really tough losses this year, but I kept believing that still the year wasn't over, I can still finish this year on a high, which has proved to be the case. Now I still have a massive highlight coming up in a week's time."

The one nagging doubt for Federer is that he revealed to feeling extremely fatigued following his win over Tsonga.

"Right now I feel very tired, I'm not feeling great," he said. "The load is on my shoulders and I will probably be even more tired, but we will see how it goes."
