British juniors Liam Broady and Joshua Ward-Hibbert won the Australian Open boys' doubles title on Friday.

The sixth seeds dominated their opponents, Czech Adam Pavlasek and Croatia's Filip Veger to claim a 6-3 6-2 victory in just 44 minutes, dropping just five points on serve in the entire match.

A single break of serve was enough to wrap up the opening set, before two more followed in the second as the British pair streaked away to victory.

There was further British success at Melbourne Park, with top seeds Andrew Lapthorne and Peter Norfolk claiming the quad wheelchair doubles title, defeating David Wagner and Noam Gershony 6-4 6-2 in the final.
