Andy Murray will open up his Sony Ericsson Open quest against either Alejandro Falla or Denis Istomin.

British No. 1 Murray has travelled to Crandon Park in Miami on the back of a disappointing loss to Guillermo Garcia-Lopez at Indian Wells and will be looking to avoid a repeat scenario in a tournament he has struggled in in recent years - being beaten by Mardy Fish in 2010 and Alex Bogomolov Jr last year. Should Murray make it past Falla or Istomin, he could face a stern test against rising star Milos Raonic.

Defending champion and No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic has been handed a potentially tricky opener against either Marcos Baghdatis or Leonardo Mayer.

Roger Federer is the form player in the men's game at present and he will open up against either Ryan Harrison or Potito Starace, with Andy Roddick a potential third-round opponent.

Rafael Nadal, in the same half of the draw as Murray, was brushed aside by Federer at Indian Wells on his return to action following a short break. He will look to improve on his sharpness ahead of the clay season and he will begin his challenge against either Pablo Andujar or Santiago Giraldo.
