Andy Roddick will open his Olympic grass court season with a return to the AEGON Championships.

The American former world No. 1, a four-time champion at the Queen's Club, has seen his ATP World Tour ranking slip in recent months as poor form and injuries have taken their toll.

But after a rousing victory against Roger Federer in Miami and with the All England Club hosting both the Championships and the Olympic tennis event this summer, the three-time Wimbledon finalist has high hopes of leaving his mark in London this summer.

That will start with a bid for a record fifth Queen's title, with Roddick currently tied with the likes of John McEnroe, Boris Becker and Lleyton Hewitt on four Queens crowns.

"I love coming back to the Queen's Club," said Roddick, who reached the semi-finals in 2011. "There's so much history there and it's one of my favourite tournaments on the Tour.

"It's hard to believe I've won a tournament as strong as the AEGON Championships four times and I'd love to win it again. I feel like something good is coming."
