World No. 1 Novak Djokovic admits Rafael Nadal is the favourite for the French Open - but he does not feel that the Spaniard is unbeatable on clay.

Nadal is a six-time winner of the Roland Garros tournament and, although he is not the top-ranked player going into the event, few would bet against him bagging another triumph.

The 'King of Clay' took care of Djokovic in straight sets on Monday in Rome on his favoured surface - a defeat that has not dampened the Serb's belief that he can taste success in the year's second grand slam.

"I want to win the Roland Garros title and I will go in with this mindset," Djokovic told the Guardian. "I feel confident. I feel that I have enough qualities to win against anybody on this surface on a given day."

Djokovic will win his fourth grand slam on the trot if he triumphs at Roland Garros, a considerable achievement considering his main rivals, Nadal and Roger Federer, can boast a combined 26 majors.
