Cilic: Murray holds no fear

Marin Cilic has expressed his belief that, when fit, he is a match for anyone in the world, ahead of a quarter-final with Andy Murray at the US Open.

Murray breezed past Milos Raonic 6-4 6-4 6-2 in the fourth round to continue his impressive march, while Cilic overcame Martin Klizan 7-5 6-4 6-0.

Cilic, the 12th seed, has lost six of his seven meetings with Murray - but his only victory came at the US Open, and he is confident of a shock repeat.

"It's really interesting for me, another big challenge. Andy's obviously playing really well," Cilic said. "When I feel well, I feel I can match up with anybody."

Murray feels that his serve has given him a platform on which to build at the US Open, and he knows his delivery will become even more important as the tournament rolls on.

"On this surface, against a big hitter like him [Raonic], normally you'll have to save some break points," Murray said. "But I served really smart today, did a good job behind my serve.

"I did the same at the Olympics. I didn't get broken the last three matches I played there. It's really important to serve well the deeper you go in the tournament. It conserves a lot of energy.

"The first round I served really badly, so there were long baseline rallies. It's physically tiring when you're serving at or 29%, or whatever I was serving at in the first match. So I was happy with that."
