Murray sticks to his schedule

Andy Murray will not make a late entry to Barcelona Open next week, but will travel to Catalunya for a week's training.
Murray was granted a wildcard to the Monte Carlo Masters after a late entry following a disappointing showing in Miami where he was the defending champion. And following his second-round defeat to Philipp Kohlschreiber, it was anticipated he would seek another wildcard for the Barcelona event in a bid for more match practice.
But Murray, who is set to drop out of the top four after his loss of rankings points at Monte Carlo where he was a semi-finalist 12 months ago, will stick to his training schedule and train in Barcelona ahead of the Italian Open on April 25.
Juan Martin del Potro has pulled out of the Barcelona Open after failing to recover from a wrist injury. Del Potro, who will move up to fourth in the world rankings on Monday, has not played since the Australian Open.
In a statement on the tournament's website, del Potro revealed he left the decision until the last minute to see if he would be fit in time. He said: "Although the injury has improved, I have not been able to train properly to be ready to compete in Barcelona."
World No. 6 Nikolay Davydenko will also miss the event with a wrist injury.
