Agnieszka Radwanska made it a perfect eight wins from eight matches when bringing an end to Li Na's winning run in 2013 with victory in their semi-final clash at the Apia International in Sydney.

Both players came into the contest with titles under their belts, Radwanska in Auckland and Li in Shenzhen, and it was the No. 1 seed who claimed a 6-1 6-4 win.

Radwanska gained momentum when breaking in a long opening game and she never looked back, eventually closing out the match in an hour and 32 minutes.

"My nerves were good," Radwanska said. "I had lost a couple of times against her last year, so I just went on the court pretty relaxed. The wind was a little bit difficult, especially in the first set - a lot of framing. But the second set went much better."

The form book was thrown out of the window in the second semi-final in Sydney, as Radwanska was joined in the final by Dominika Cibulkova who beat No. 2 seed Angelique Kerber 6-2 4-6 6-3.

At the Hobart International, Kirsten Flipkens rallied from a set down to beat Monica Niculescu and she will meet Mona Barthel in the semi-finals following her win over Tsvetana Pironkova.

Sloane Stephens is the highest seed left in the competition and she beat fellow American Lauren Davis in three sets. The No. 8 seed will face Elena Vesnina in the last four after her victory over Jarmila Gajdosova.
