Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has added his name to an all-star line-up to play at the AEGON Championships in June.

Tsonga, Fernando Verdasco and Marin Cilic all confirmed their entry for the traditional Wimbledon warm-up tournament, joining Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Roddick and Juan Martin del Potro in committing to the event which begins on June 7.

Tsonga's only appearance at Queen's came in 2007, when after progressing through qualifying, he knocked out defending champion Lleyton Hewitt.

"It will be interesting to see how it goes for me at the AEGON Championships and at Wimbledon because grass is a good surface for me - I feel very confident and comfortable and can play quite well on it," Tsonga said.

"I like The Queen's Club as I had some breakthrough results there three years ago, qualifying for the tournament and then beating Lleyton Hewitt. There are many people coming to the tournament, and the bigger the crowd, the better I usually play."

After claiming the scalp of Hewitt, Tsonga was beaten in the third round by Cilic, who was also making his Queen's debut, the Croatian having already stunned British favourite Tim Henman. Cilic has played at Queen's every year since then, but has failed to replicated the form he showed in 2007. Nevertheless, he believes his best tennis comes on the grass.

"It was really nice to play on the Centre Court in front of a full stadium, and I played one of the best matches of my career to win," Cilic said of the match against Henman. "I believe I can play my very best tennis on grass and win a lot of matches. I hope one day I can be in a position to win a Grand Slam title, and I would love for it to be at Wimbledon on grass."
