Robson wins to set up Kvitova clash
Laura Robson set up a huge meeting with Petra Kvitova after taking care of Melanie Oudin for the loss of only five games.
Kvitova made hard work of beating former French Open champion Francesca Schiavone, advancing in three sets, but there were no such worries for Robson.
Having seen her fellow Brit Heather Watson progress 24 hours previous, Robson came out firing against Oudin.
Robson made a rapid start, breaking twice early on to race into a 4-0 lead. Oudin avoided the bagel by holding serve, but Robson had too much firepower for the American.
The second set was a tighter affair, with breaks of serve traded. The decisive break went Robson's way in the seventh game and she held her nerve to book her place in round two.
