Sara Errani's love affair with Paris continued as she eased into the final of the Open GDF Suez.

Errani, last year's French Open runner-up, had nothing more than an exercise hit as she was 5-0 to the good when Kiki Bertens retired on account of a pelvis injury.

"It has been a strange week for me," Errani said. "I knew Kiki was a bit hurt, so I told myself to try to have a good start and just stay focused - at least now I will have a bit more time to feel better after my quarter-final match."

Mona Barthel will face Errani in the final following her 6-1 6-4 success over Kristina Mladenovic.

At the Pattaya Open in Thailand, Maria Kirilenko will face Sabine Lisicki in the final following their impressive wins.

Kirilenko, the No. 2 seed, was particularly impressive as she crushed Sorana Cirstea for the loss of only two games.

Earlier in the day, Nina Bratchikova's fine run through the tournament was brought to an end by Lisicki who claimed 7-5 6-3 win.
