Roddick craves longer grass-court season

Andy Roddick has made no secret of his desire for tennis' grass-court season to be extended beyond its current length.
The world No. 7, a three-time runner-up at Wimbledon, is widely considered to be one of the sport's most skilled operators on grass.
He is warming up for a tilt at the Wimbledon title by playing at Queen's, which begins a mere two weeks before the SW19 Grand Slam gets going.
In future, Roddick has urged tennis chiefs to allow him more time to prepare for a championship push at the All England Club.
"I know all the guys who enjoy grass as much as I do wish we had three months or even a couple of extra weeks - it gets talked about," Roddick said.
