Evans falls short in career-best run in Zagreb
Dan Evans failed to keep his career-best run at an ATP Tour event after losing in the semi-finals of the Zagreb Indoors to former world No. 2 Tommy Haas.
Evans, who had never reached the last four of an ATP Tour event prior to this week, was beaten 5-7 6-4 6-3 by the top seed.
Evans is set to climb in the world rankings from 147 to 124, and had become the first British player other than Andy Murray to reach an ATP Tour semi-final since James Ward achieved the feat at Queen's in 2011.
Great week for evo.. career high ranking next week and huge step towards top 100
