Beckham headlines host of Royal Box stars
David Beckham headlined the traditional star-studded turnout in the Royal Box at Wimbledon on Saturday.
While action on the outside courts stuttered due to persistent rain showers, the Centre Court roof was closed and the guests were treated to wins from Rafael Nadal and Maria Sharapova before seven-time winner Roger Federer took to the grass.

Former England captain Beckham was joined by the likes of World Cup winner and fellow Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton, as well as Olympic medallists Sir Matthew Pinsent, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Victoria Pendleton, Amy Williams, Lizzie Yarnold, Tom Daley and Amy Adams.
England's top-ranked golfer, Ian Poulter, was also present, as was Matt Fitzpatrick - who recently became the first player since 1930 to hold the medals for highest-finishing amateur at the Open Championship and US Open simultaneously.
From the cricket world, Andrew Strauss, Sachin Tendulkar, Phil Tufnell, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn watched on, as did boxers David Haye and Anthony Joshua.
Expectedly, many of them took to social media sites to express their delight - and, of course, to squeeze in a selfie or two.
