2008 junior champion Laura Robson powered into the semi-finals of the girls' singles competition at Wimbledon by winning her battle against fellow Brit Tara Moore.

Eighth seed Robson dominated the entirety of the contest as she romped to a 7-5 6-1 victory in 57 minutes on court - a win that sets up a last-four clash against Yulia Putintseva.

It was an eye-catching performance from Robson, who never looked in any trouble behind her own serve - she conceded a mere three break points in the match - and dismantled her opponent's second delivery with a barrage of fierce returns.

Robson was knocked out in the first round of the women's event at the All England Club this year, falling to No. 4 seed Jelena Jankovic in straight sets despite battling valiantly.

Elsewhere, Oliver Golding carried on his giant-killing form to send ninth seed Renzo Olivo crashing out of the boys' singles. Golding, who roared past Australian world No.1 Jason Kubler on Wednesday, battled from behind to steal a 4-6 6-4 6-4 triumph that sets up an encounter with Facundo Arguello.
