Andy Murray has slipped to 10th in the ATP world rankings following his quarter-final exit at Wimbledon.

Murray, who was the reigning champion heading into SW19, was ranked at No.5 before the third Grand Slam of the year began, but after his loss to Grigor Dimitrov has dropped to No.10 - his lowest position since 2008. Queen's champion Dimitrov is in ninth following his impressive run on grass.

Novak Djokovic has replaced Rafael Nadal at the top of the rankings following his epic five-set victory over Roger Federer on Sunday to triumph at Wimbledon for a second time.

Djokovic begins his third stint as the world No.1 having first reached top spot in 2011 - after he claimed his first Wimbledon victory. Since losing the world No.1 spot to Nadal last year, Djokovic has won 54 out of 58 matches and has lifted seven titles.

Federer is up to No.3 from No.4 and swaps positions with fellow Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka. Federer also reclaims the Swiss No.1 from the player he defeated in the quarter-finals.
