Murray splits with coach

World No. 4 Andy Murray has parted company with his coach Miles Maclagan.
The British No. 1 is in Los Angeles this week for the Farmers Classic, his first appearance since his semi-final defeat at Wimbledon, and confirmed he had split with the 35-year-old after two-and-a-half years together.
"I've had a great relationship with Miles over the past two-and-a-half years and I want to thank him for his positive contribution to my career," Murray said. "We have had a lot of success and fun working together."
Murray will continue working with consultant Alex Corretja as well as trainer Jez Green and physio Andy Ireland and will assess his coaching after the US Open in September.
"Andy is completely focused on the US hardcourt season and he will review his coaching situation after the US Open," said a statement released by Murray's management company.
Maclagan joined Murray's coaching team in November 2007 and helped steer the Scot to a career high No. 2 in the world. Under Maclagan's guidance, Murray reached two Grand Slam finals, falling on both occasions to Roger Federer.
"It's been a privilege to work with Andy as his coach and I'm happy to have played my part in his career," he said. "I also want to thank the team for all their hard work over the years and I will miss working with them and Andy on a day-to-day basis.
"Andy is a great player and I know he will continue to have the success his talent and hard work deserves."
