Andy Murray vows to attack Cilic

Andy Murray has stressed he will look to dominate Marin Cilic in their Australian Open semi-final. Murray progressed to his first last-four appearance in Melbourne following victory over Rafael Nadal. The Scot was on top when Nadal retired on account of a knee injury and it does mean he will approach the clash with Cilic with less miles in his legs as the Croat has already played three five-set matches.
Murray was reluctant to go into too much detail about his tactics, but he appears determined to play the game on the front foot. "If I play like I did tonight I've got a big chance," Murray said. "Nerves are going to be there with the opportunity of reaching a final in a Slam. He beat me in straight sets at the US Open so I will be looking for some revenge.
"He's a big guy so I will try and keep the ball low and keep him moving. When he's dictating the points he plays his best tennis so i will try to dominate."
Muray had words of sympathy for Nadal who was forced to retire after appearing to aggravate the knee injury that dogged him last year. "I've known Rafa since we were 13, 14," Murray said. "When I was in the juniors he was already in the seniors and he is my favourite player to watch, just because of the energy and quality he brings to the court.
"I came through a few tough points at the start of the match, I was possibly going for it a little bit too much but he forces you to do that. I knew I had to keep going and those were the right tactics to win.
"I had to play big tennis and when the big points come, you have to keep them short against Rafa because he is so comfortable in the long points."
