Gasquet named in France squad

France captain Guy Forget insists he has not decided on his final line-up after naming a five-man squad for the Davis Cup final against Serbia.
With Jo-Wilfried Tsonga out with a knee injury, world No. 12 Gael Monfils is expected to lead the French charge as they bid to win a tenth Davis Cup title. However, Richard Gasquet, Gilles Simon and Michael Llodra will be battling for the second singles spot in Belgrade on December 3.
Forget has provisionally named Gasquet as a substitute, but insisted he will wait until the last minute before deciding on his four-man team.
"I selected four players in Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon, Michael Llodra and Arnaud Clement, but I put Richard Gasquet in the group because for a meeting of this importance it seems essential to prepare five players," Forget told French paper L'Equipe.
World No. 3 Novak Djokovic will lead Serbia in their first Davis Cup final, with Viktor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic also named.
