Andy Murray has confirmed he intends to chase gold on two fronts at London 2012.

The world No. 5 crashed out at the second-round stage at Indian Wells on Saturday, but has reached the quarter-finals of the doubles with brother Jamie.

The pair won their first ATP Tour title in Valencia November, and Murray confirmed they would be going for Olympic doubles gold at the All England Club next year.

They are currently Britain's top-ranked doubles pairing, and they have confirmed they intend to continue playing together in the build-up to the Olympics.

"We'd like to play if we get the chance," Murray confirmed.

"It's not often you get the chance to play in a home Olympics," Jamie Murray said. "It's a bit of a weird selection criteria but if it was tomorrow, we would get in easily."
