Andy Murray has expressed interest in working with Tim Henman, but has denied approaching the former British No. 1 to be his new coach.

Murray's coaching structure is a hot topic of debate, following his recent split from Alex Corretja. Former Spanish player Corretja linked up with Murray after he parted ways with Miles Maclagan last year. The pair enjoyed sporadic success, but Murray's form has lurched since his run to the final of the Australian Open at the start of the year.

He has been linked with a host of names, with Henman the latest to be mentioned. Henman has left the door ajar by admitting he could be tempted to work with the Scot in the future and it would appear the British No. 1 is of the same mindset.

"I would be interested in working with him," Murray said of Henman. "I might speak to him but I haven't yet. He's an ex-player who I am sure could help me in many respects.

"Unfortunately, I think he's quite happy on the golf course, so I'm not quite sure."

Murray feels he has to time the appointment right and does not want to be rushed.

"I'd like it to happen before Wimbledon, but also I wouldn't like to appoint someone two days before the French Open," he said. "If it doesn't happen in the next two or three weeks, it's more likely to happen straight after the French Open or after Wimbledon."

Murray has retained his position at No. 4 in the world, while in the women's rankings Victoria Azarnka has shot into the top five after backing up her Sony Ericsson Open win with success in Andalucia.
