World No. 216 James Ward will lean on Andy Murray for advice as he prepares to set up an all-British final in the AEGON Championships at Queen's.

Ward added Adrian Mannarino to previous triumphs over Stanislas Wawrinka and Sam Querrey in order to reach the semi-finals, where he now meets Jo-Wilfried Tsonga after the Frenchman knocked out Rafael Nadal. Murray, meanwhile, must overcome big-serving Andy Roddick.

Murray has defeated Tsonga in four of five encounters between the two players, so Ward will seek out the British No. 1 for tips ahead of Saturday's clash.

"I will send him a message later on and see what he's got for me," Ward said. "I will obviously try to do the same that I have been doing against Wawrinka and Querrey, ask a few people and see what they've got for me.

"But a lot of it depends on my game, as well, and try to play to my strengths and hope for the best. What do you want me to say? He's one of the best players in the world."

The prospect of an all-British final will be on every spectator's lips at Queen's on Saturday, but Ward insists he will not be carried away against Tsonga, even if he does think Murray will see off Roddick.

"I haven't been thinking about the final. I have been thinking about the next round. Who knows? If I get another win tomorrow, then I'll play Andy in the final. I've got to focus on [Tsonga] first."
