Wozniacki injury scare in Sweden

World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki has been forced to withdraw from the Swedish Open due to a shoulder injury.

The Dane strolled through the first set of her second-round match with Sofia Arvidsson, taking it 6-2, before succumbing to the injury at the start of the second frame.

She tried to push through the pain barrier - even serving underarm at one stage - but called it quits after consultation with the WTA trainer.

Wozniacki, who has played at tournaments in nine of the last ten weeks, was stunned by No. 24 seed Dominika Cibulkova in the fourth round of Wimbledon.
