Built in readiness for the 1978 FIFA World Cup, the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas holds over 45,000 fans. Situated at General San Martín Park in the Argentinian city of Mendoza, it will host the Pumas' first home Rugby Championship game, against South Africa on August 25, 2012. The stadium is also home to Godoy Cruz, an Argentinian football club.
