Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has made four changes to the team that last week lost 22-17 to South Africa for Saturday's Rugby Championship match against the All Blacks in Hamilton.
After being overwhelmed 73-13 by South Africa in Soweto in the opening round, the Pumas ran the Springboks close in Mendoza on August 24.
Pumas loose forward Leonardo Senatore received a nine-week ban for biting after the rugged encounter. While Senatore is gone, the Pumas have been boosted by the return of skipper Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe from a calf injury.
In the only other change in the forwards, Mariano Galarza returns to the bench, replaced by 34-cap lock Manuel Carizza in the starting 15. The vastly experienced Felipe Contepomi, who captained the side last week, will make his impact from the bench on Saturday, with Santiago Fernandez starting at second five-eighth. Juan Martin Hernandez returns from injury and will take over duties at fullback, shifting Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino back to the reserves.
Loose forward Pablo Matera, who was accused of eye-gouging during last week's Test, is again in the starting 15. A judicial hearing found the 20-year-old not guilty of foul play after the accusations from Springbok flanker Francois Louw.
Argentina: Juan Martin Hernandez; Gonsalo Camacho, Marcelo Bosch, Santiago Fernandez, Horacio Agulla; Nicolas Sanchez, Martin Landajo; Juan Manuel Leguizamon, Pablo Matera, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe (capitan); Julio Farias Cabello, Manuel Carizza; Juan Figallo, Eusebio Guiazu, Marcos Ayerza. Reserves: Agustin Creevy, Nahuel Lobo, Juan Pablo Orlandi, Mariano Galarza, Benjamin Macome, Tomas Cubelli, Felipe Contepomi, Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino.
