Trafalgar Park, which is situated close to the centre of Nelson, has been used for cricket since the early 1880s.

It has undergone many upgrades over the years and current renovations will see the stadium grow to a capacity of 18,000 ahead of the World Cup in 2011, during which Italy will play two of their group games against the USA and Russia.
