Wasps have confirmed that a host of players will leave the club at the end of the season with Richard Haughton one surprise inclusion.

Haughton started at fullback for the Aviva Premiership side in their final match of the season against Falcons and gave them key yards for Christian Wade's score. It is unclear where Haughton will be next season with Bob Baker, Jeremy Castex, James Harris, Charlie Ingall, Joe Burton and Chris Elder also leaving the club.

Other departures include Riki Flutey, who will journey to Japan, Ben Broster, who is joining Biarritz, and Rob Webber who has signed a contract with Bath.

Wasps have also announced that a series of short-term deals have come to an end with Heinz Koll, Victor Gresev, Ed O'Donoghue, Tom Prydie and Lee Robinson all leaving the club.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young paid tribute to the players leaving the club saying: "I would like to thank all of the players departing for their efforts in the London Wasps shirt and wish them all the best in the future.

"We are looking to develop a balanced squad with more depth than the season just gone so we are hopeful there will be more arrivals and contract extensions to come, though undoubtedly our planning has been difficult while the club's financial future has been unclear."
