Toro Rosso to be unveiled at Jerez
Toro Rosso will launch its new car at the Jerez circuit on January 27.
The STR9 will be unveiled in the Jerez pit lane the evening before Jean-Eric Vergne gives the car its first run out on January 28. The team has switched from Ferrari to Renault engines for the upcoming season, and also replaced Daniel Ricciardo with Russian Daniil Kvyat in their driver line-up.
Vergne, who has been retained by the team for his third season, will test the car on January 28, with Kvyat expected to get behind the wheel later in the test. Toro Rosso will become the fourth team to reveal their car for 2014, though McLaren, Ferrari and Sauber are all launching their cars online and not at the Jerez circuit.
Red Bull, Mercedes and Sauber will roll out their new cars the morning after Toro Rosso.
