Western Force flanker Richard Brown says he would love to return to the Wallabies set-up in time for the series against the British & Irish Lions starting in June.

Brown played the last of his 23 Tests for the Wallabies in 2010, with a number of serious shoulder injuries halting his progress at international level.

The 28-year-old has been a strong contributor for the Force in the early rounds of the Super Rugby season, and hopes he can produce the form needed over the next three months to catch the eye of Wallabies coach Robbie Deans.

"It would be great to exchange a Wallabies jersey for a Lions jersey," Brown said on Tuesday.

"To have that hanging in your living room would be a fantastic thing. And more importantly to win the series.

"I think I was 18 when I watched the last Lions tour, watching the guys I grew up idolising playing against them.

"It would be a fantastic thing to repeat it."

The Force will be aiming to notch their first win of the season when they take on the Queensland Reds at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
