Wallabies lock Mark Chisholm made his international debut against Scotland in 2004. Having graduated into the Brumbies' Super 12 side during the previous season, Chisholm cemented a place at both Super 14 and international level over the next few seasons.
Chisholm had begun his career with Queensland Reds, being named "Colt of the Year" in 2000 before representing Australia U19. He made the step up to the Reds' squad in 2001 before joining the Brumbies in 2003.
In 2006 Chisholm played every one of the Brumbies Super 14 matches before being an ever present for the Wallabies that summer, playing three Tests at blindside flanker and two at lock.
In 2007 Chisholm was selected for the Wallabies World Cup squad, although a dip in form saw him excluded from the Wallabies' squad in 2008.
After representing Australia A during the 2008 Pacific Nations Cup, he was recalled to the full squad for the Hong Kong Bledisloe Cup Test and European tour. Chisholm scored a long-range try in the 21-18 loss to Wales at the Millennium Stadium in November 2008.
