South Africa have made two enforced changes to their side as they go in search of Tri-Nations revenge against the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday.

Springbok coach Peter De Villiers has resisted the urge to ring the changes in the wake of last weekend's demoralising 32-12 loss in Auckland, standing by the vast majority of his starting side.

The two changes come in the pack, where Danie Rossouw will win his 50th cap in place of the suspended Bakkies Botha and CJ van der Linde starts at tight-head following an injury to Jannie du Plessis.

"I trust this bunch of people. They weren't on song on Saturday but they weren't bad. It's just that the All Blacks were very good," De Villiers said. "These boys are much better than what we showcased on Saturday and it's time for them to stand up.

"You don't kick any dog that's down... I hope I can do my job properly. When Tiger Woods has a bad day, it doesn't mean he's not the No 1 golf player in the world. He's just had a bad day."

Rossouw is set for a run in the side following Botha's nine-week ban for headbutting All Blacks scrum-half Jimmy Cowan in the opening moments of their Eden Park clash. The only change on the bench sees Sharks No.8 Ryan Kankowski drafted in.
