Scotland have the weight of history against them as they look to break their duck against New Zealand this weekend.

The Scots have failed to conquer the All Blacks in their previous 26 meetings with their last reverse coming during the 2007 Rugby World Cup when Graham Henry's side powered to a 40-0 victory at Murrayfield.

The Scots have shared the spoils with the southern hemipshere giants on two occasions with neither side managing a score in their 1964 meeting at Murrayfield and the teams battling to a 25-25 draw at the same venue in 1983.

The sides first met almost 103 years ago when the New Zealand edged out the Scots 12-7.

Their current sequence of 14 successive victories dates back to 1987 when the All Blacks won 30-13 in a Rugby World Cup quarter-final clash in Christchurch.
