Nothing preventing Silva v GSP superfight - Soares

Anderson Silva's manager, Ed Soares, has promised the UFC that the middleweight champion will "never refuse" a fight with Georges St-Pierre.
Silva is currently preparing for his title defence against Yushin Okami at UFC 134 in Rio. However, it is largely accepted that he has cleared out the middleweight division, leading to constant questions about a superfight with welterweight king St-Pierre.
The duo have got close to agreeing a bout on occasions in the past, but it would be a big demand on GSP in particular, due to the fact he is facing the bigger man. St-Pierre has also said that if he moved up to middleweight, he would never drop back down.
Soares believes Silva could rule in every UFC weight class from welterweight upwards, but ideally he would fight St-Pierre at middleweight or at a catchweight of around 178lbs. Either way, he insists the Brazilian remains open to putting on what would surely be the biggest bout in the sport's history.
"There's nothing from our side that's preventing it," Soares told the MMA Insiders radio show. "There's never been anything from our side preventing any fight.
"We have our opinions but at the end of the day, whomever the UFC has put in front of us, we've always fought. We've never picked opponents. We might have had, you know, when they ask us what our choices are, we may have different choices or different opinions, but we've always fought whomever they've put in front of us.
"So if the UFC wants us to fight Georges St-Pierre, fine. Anderson says 'hey, have him move up in weight, or we'll do a catchweight, whatever.' But it's really up to the UFC, not up to us."
