Dana White commented on Thursday that he will "try to figure out" how to get Dan Henderson back in the UFC.

Henderson made himself one of the most sought-after properties in MMA last weekend, beating Fedor Emelianenko by first-round TKO. At the age of 40, he seems to be rediscovering his very best form.

Hendo, now a free agent after his Strikeforce contract expired, recently confessed he would be "very interested" in fighting the winner of the next UFC light-heavyweight championship bout between Jon Jones and Rampage Jackson. A fight with Jones would be a bout between old and new generations of MMA, while a clash with Rampage would hand Hendo the chance to avenge a previous defeat.

Looking past Rampage and Jones, there are a host of other intriguing bouts for Henderson in the UFC, not least Rashad Evans or Tito Ortiz - who clash this weekend. His win against Fedor was also at heavyweight, opening the door to a potential run at Cain Velasquez and Co.

UFC president White can see the options, and he told reporters he will look to smooth over past disagreements with Henderson, who left the UFC for Strikeforce after beating Michael Bisping.

"We'll see what happens," White said according to MMA Junkie. "Hendo and I have had some history in dealings. We'll see if we can figure something out and get him back in the UFC."
