Injured Sanchez out of UFC 135

Diego Sanchez has been ruled out of UFC 135 after breaking his hand, Dana White has confirmed.

Sanchez was scheduled to take on Matt Hughes in Denver on September 24, but injury has put paid to this fight taking place.

"Diego Sanchez broke his hand," UFC president White wrote on Twitter. "Looking for a replacement for Hughes."

There has been no indication as to how long Sanchez will be sidelined for, while a replacement has not yet been confirmed. It has been suggested Josh Koscheck could step in.

A light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Rampage Jackson is scheduled to headline UFC 135.
