Rampage Jackson has set his sights on a rematch with Forrest Griffin following his defeat to Jon Jones at UFC 135.

Jackson admitted he underestimated the light-heavyweight champion as he suffered the first submission defeat of his UFC career to a rear naked choke in the fourth round.

Jackson initially called out Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua in the immediate aftermath of his defeat in Denver but, after learning that the Brazilian is scheduled to face Dan Henderson in November, he has now turned his attention to Griffin.

Jackson lost his light-heavyweight title to Griffin in a controversial decision defeat at UFC 86 in 2008, and now he has his sights set on revenge when the UFC returns to Japan next year.

"I'll fight Forrest in Japan, me and Forrest just lost, put two losers in there together," Jackson told Fightline.com.

The UFC plans to return to host an event at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan in February 2012.
