Cruz open to future super-fight with Jose Aldo

UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz admits he would never turn down the chance to fight Jose Aldo, if the UFC was interested in a super-fight.
Cruz is the reigning 135lb king, while Aldo is currently proving unbeatable at 145lbs. As two fighters with extraordinarily unorthodox styles, a clash between the pair would bring untold spotlight to the UFC's lighter weight classes.
However, Cruz is busy attempting to establish a legacy at bantamweight, taking on Demetrious Johnson on Saturday in the second defence of his UFC title. Victory will likely set up a rematch with the winner of Urijah Faber v Brian Bowles.
The only loss of Cruz's career came against Faber back in 2007, when he competed for the WEC featherweight crown. Since then the bantamweight terrain has become his home, winning eight on the bounce since his 135lb debut.
Asked if he would ever return to the heavier weight class, for that potential clash with Aldo, Cruz insists he will never turn down any fight in the UFC.
"I haven't really thought about it too much," Cruz told ESPN. "Each fight I'm focused on the fighter I'm up against.
"But I will say that I'm not going to turn down the opportunity [to fight for the featherweight title] if it comes up in the future."
