Martin Kampmann has unleashed a wide-ranging attack on Nick Diaz, calling him a "punk" and suggesting he will "lose badly" to Georges St-Pierre.

Diaz will face St-Pierre at UFC 143 on February 4 next year, having earned a shot after St-Pierre's scheduled bout with Carlos Condit fell through due to injury. Instead of Condit getting another chance, Diaz was reinstated as the No. 1 contender to St-Pierre.

And Kampmann, who takes on Rick Story on Saturday at UFC 139, believes Condit was badly treated during the incident.

"I personally think Carlos Condit got screwed," Kampmann told MMA Sucka. "Nick Diaz has been pretty good at hyping himself up. To be honest, I don't think Diaz is that good.

"Anytime he has fought any good wrestlers he has had problems. I think he's going to lose badly to GSP. Diaz is good at running his mouth and doing his thing … you know … being a punk. I would love to fight Nick Diaz sooner than later. I would absolutely love to fight him somewhere down the line."
